dignitas edged past mousesports and moved on to the semi-finals after a 2-0 victory (16-4 on de_cbble and 16-13 on de_mirage).

Group B's decider match in DreamHack ZOWIE Open Leipzig has come to an end, with dignitas advancing to the semis and with mousesports getting knocked out of the tournament. mouz, who beat Virtus.pro in their first group match but came up short against Astralis in an overtime thriller, and dignitas, who shockingly eliminated Virtus.pro in three maps yesterday after losing to Astralis in their opening game, battled it out in front of the German crowd.

The series started out with de_cbble, which was picked by the Danes. dignitas were able to get the first three rounds on the T-side but mouz came right back and took the first gun round. Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel's lurk from the B-site, though, allowed his team to get the following round, putting mouz in a harsh economical situation.

It was a team effort for dignitas on the first map

After a double eco, the German team couldn't stop the fast rushes of their opponents, trailling 1-9. Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač's tactical timeout didn't pay off as much as he would like it to as the score at halftime was 12-3 in favor of Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen & co. Jesper "⁠TENZKI⁠" Plougmann's quad-kill in the pistol round of the second half sealed the deal for his team's victory on the first map (16-4).

mouz, starting out on the T-side, took the pistol round on de_mirage with Denis "⁠denis⁠" Howell clutching in a 1-on-2 after-plant situation, and they didn't have much trouble picking up the following 2 rounds. Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke's shenanigans on the B-site with a scout earned his team their first round (3-1).

The rest of the first half was largely controlled by the German team, who finished 9-6 ahead. The pistol round victory, followed by MSL's quad-kill might have gotten the Danes rolling but NiKo picked up three kills with only a USP-s and his teammates finished off the rest of the dignitas players who were rushing the B-site with full equipments, bringing the score to 10-8 in favor of mouz.

NiKo's solid performance couldn't prevent the defeat 

Led by NiKo's incredible pistol kills, his team kept getting rounds with inferior weapons, which forced a dignitas timeout (13-10). The pause paid off as dignitas went on a six round streak and won the map 16-13 with RUBINO's incredible 1-on-3 spraydown clutch.
