KILLERFISH have swept German rivals PENTA 2-0 in the grand final of the 99Damage League Season 1, winning 5,000 Euros as a result (16-6 on de_cbble and 16-7 on de_dust2).

The first season of the 99Damage League threw up an impressive sum of 10,000€ (~$11,355) for an online tournament that featured Germany's eight best teams.

With powerhouse mousesports dropping out of the league on September 13th due to scheduling conflicts, the field was made clear for hungry teams such as PENTA and KILLERFISH to finish first in the league.

After the best-of-two round robin group, it was EYES ON U, Planetkey, PENTA, and KILLERFISH who advanced to a double elimination, best-of-three bracket.

By the bracket's end however, a fairly dominant KILLERFISH (who just recently brought in three new players) led by Kevin "⁠keev⁠" Bartholomäus stomped Timo "⁠Spiidi⁠" Richter's PENTA in the grand final, winning 16-6 on de_cbble and 16-7 on de_dust2.
