The finals for EPS Winter 2011 were held last weekend with mousesports once again taking the crown as German's best Counter-Strike team.
As in the past Summer's EPS season, only the final was left for the LAN playoffs as the rest of the season was finished online, as well as a few matches at Intel Friday Night Games.
In the grand final mousesports faced the Swedish/Norwegian ESC Gaming, who were allowed to participate in EPS due to having moved three people to Frankfurt for the duration of the season.
The Germans quickly jumped up to a 11-4 lead at half on de_inferno after a strong defensive half. ESC Gaming tried their best to fight back in the second half but it wasn't enough, as they ended up losing with a total score of 8-16.
Second map was de_dust2 where it was ESC who had the lead after their opening terrorist half, 10-5. After swapping sides the defending champions turned it up a notch and finished the map with a 11-3 second half score, 16-13 total.

4.myRevenge.de - 1,200€
This makes it eight EPS Germany titles in a row for mousesports who have continuously proven themselves as the best German team and despite of ESC Gaming participating, this time was no different.
The grand final for League Cup was also played on LAN yesterday and mousesports came out victorious in that as well. They had previously knocked out ESC Gaming online in the semi-finals and faced frantiC.SNOGARD in the finals.
First map was de_tuscan where frantiC.SNOGARD pushed mouz to their limits but came up short in the end in overtime, 18-21. Deciding map ended up being de_nuke where an impressive CT side gave mouz a 12-3 lead which they were able to hold on to as terrorists, winning the map 16-6.

By winning two titles on one weekend, mousesports have proven to be the clear number one team in Germany even though ESC Gaming had brought Karl-William "kalle" Haraldsen back from inactivity for the last few events of the year.
