SK send Question Mark packing after a 2-1 upset (de_cache 16-2, de_train 9-16, de_mirage 16-13) at Fragbite Masters Season 5 Finals.

de_cache kicked off the domestic match-up between SK and Question Mark and that time around the former had a much better start into the series following their yesterday's blowout versus NiP. Emil "Magisk" Reif's triple headshot and Casper "cadiaN" Møller's quad-kill in a 3-on-5 as Counter-Terrorists put their team up to 2-0 to start things off.

The battle of individuals continued, this time it was Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth's time to shine in a 1-on-2, but SK fought back in the rounds after and put them on eco for 4-1. Michael "Friis" Jørgensen picked up an AWP into quad and got a triple-kill with it and SK's domination continued.

Question Mark eventually found a way to break SK's defense with a quick A split for 2-8, although SK didn't back down and with another triple from the Danish sniper along the way, the scoreline at halftime said 13-2. A very confident pistol round win after switching over pushed SK over the finish line for 16-2 in the end.

Friis played a pivotal role in SK's success

SK's pick, de_train, followed as map number two, where QM were the ones to kick it off the better as CT, getting a 3-0 lead after retaking the B bombsite in the pistol round. In spite of numerous problems with SK's forcebuys, they got up to 6-0, much thanks to individual performances from Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and Xyp9x on the B bombsite.

René "cajunb" Borg piled on the fire with a triple in the outer bombsite and not even a timeout helped SK find a gap in QM's defense, as the latter continued to thrive up until 9-0. That was when Asger "AcilioN" Larsen turned a 1-on-2 on its head, only for his team to be thrown back on the ground for another 13-2 at halftime.

The other half didn't turn out the same as on map one, since SK executed a retake on B in the pistol, and AcilioN found success in another 1-on-2 clutch for 13-5. SK continued to turn unfavorable situations around up until 13-8, when QM got two rounds on the board for map point.

cadiaN and Nicolai "device" Reedtz found themselves in a ridiculous 1-on-1 situation afterwards, when both kept running around a smoke before the former defused the bomb, as device couldn't find him with his knife out. That didn't change much in the outcome though, as QM still evened the series at 16-9, 1-1.

Acilion had numerous multikills in important gunrounds on the last map

It seemed like map three, de_mirage, was going a similar direction to de_train in the beginning, Question Mark as Terrorists got a solid 5-1 start with a won pistol round and the second gunround, with a few ecos thrown in.

SK proved many wrong right afterwards though, very much thanks to AcilioN, who got four kills over the next four gunrounds on the A bombsite to take six rounds in a row for his team. Another A strategy was successful the fifth time around for QM, and a switch-up on B as well, but it was Friis deciding who would take the 8-7 lead with a narrow 1-on-2 clutch.

Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad took the second pistol as well, but AcilioN's fake in the following forcebuy allowed cadiaN to plant the bomb on the other bombsite and come out on top of a 1-on-1 at the end for 10-8. QM only bought a few P250s and stacked A as opposed to forcebuying in the following round, which paid off as they overpowered the attack from SK.

After a forcebuy from SK, QM ran over their opposition three rounds in a row for a 13-10 lead, but yet again the underdogs turned it around and made it 13-13 after Andreas "MODDII" Fridh and Friis combined for five kills on the A bombsite. Running into an eco stack didn't change anything, and a great teamplay in a bad situation allowed SK to take match point, which was turned into 16-13 to complete the upset in Stockholm.
