Syman and MOLLIHblE have earned spots in the closed qualifier for the CIS Minor after finishing top two in the third open bracket.

Over 200 teams from across the region competed in the third of four open brackets for the chance to enter the final 16-team qualifier - which will feature eight invitees, including Gambit, AVANGAR and Winstrike.

Syman, whose legitimacy had been questioned by ex-Space Soldiers and AGO in the closed qualifier for DreamHack Open Winter, defeated DreamEaters in overtime and then Underdogs in a three-map series to clinch their spot in the next stage.

MOLLIHblE had a convincing run through the bottom side of the bracket as they did not let any of their best-of-one opponents reach double digits before taking down Kungar 2-0 convincingly with an all-round performance.

The closed qualifier for the CIS Minor will be held on November 17-18 and will feature a double-elimination bracket, with all matches being played in a best-of-three format. The team list for the qualifier can be found below:
