Astralis remain at the top of the BLAST Pro Series round-robin stage following a 15-15 draw with North, while FaZe dismantled G2 to win their first match of the tournament.

The Danish derby began with a fast B execution from Astralis, who locked down the round in part thanks to a triple-kill from Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen. After losing both eco rounds, North put up a strong showing, winning five rounds straight to get a good control of the economy.

With the game threatening to spiral out of control, Andreas "⁠Xyp9x⁠" Højsleth came up huge, picking up four kills on what was an extremely shoddy buy from his team. Astralis would not be able to follow it up, however, as they collapsed following North's aggressive rotation towards the B site, which did not let the terrorists get into good positions. For the remainder of the half, North kept their defence very tight, taking an impressive 10 rounds into the second half.

Astralis kept themselves in the game by taking the pistol round with ease off of another triple-kill from dupreeh. That round sparked a great run from the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta champions, who eventually restored parity at 10-10 with an ace from Xyp9x.

Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup paved the way for North to retake the lead with two opening frags on the B site, with Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen's men following that up with two more rounds. With no room for error, Astralis tightened up their defense and reached match point thanks to great individual plays from Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman and Xyp9x, but North pulled through in the final round to equalise the score.

Meanwhile, FaZe put in a fantastic performance against G2 to pick up their first victory in Copenhagen. The European mixture got off to a flying start on the Terrorist side and cruised to an 11-2 lead before the Frenchmen bagged the final two rounds of the half.

G2 gave themselves a fighting chance by taking the pistol round and the following anti-ecos, reducing the deficit to 7-11, but FaZe took control of proceedings once they finally bought up, only giving up just one round before taking the map.
